Thank you for honoring me with your visit to my web site! My name is Robert Young and I have cleaned thousands of homes and businesses over the past 14 years. My personality is 'reflective,' and so I learn something from every job. (For one thing, I've learned that my clients are very special people to me. Without them calling me, referring me and saying good things about me, I would be out of business).
I call my company "Butler-Young Pro Textile Cleaning," rather than "Butler-Young Carpet Cleaning," because I clean many types of fabrics, weaves, blends and textiles, from the most simple to the complex. I also clean vinyl, hard surfaces, tile and grout, and handle small floods and repairs.
To get anything truly clean, four things have to happen:
- You have to use a 'solution,' or chemical of some kind (like soap).
- You have to apply that solution and allow time for it to dwell on the area being cleaned.
- If you apply heat, the cleaning will be more effective.
- Mechanical action (rubbing, scraping, touching) is necessary.
Upon arriving at your home or business, I introduce myself, ask to enter, and then I listen to you. I exam the fibers that I'll be dealing with to make sure I am selecting the right method to clean them. Often, vacuuming is the first step in cleaning. I then apply the correct pre-spray, and begin the extraction process. Lastly, I groom the carpet and often I'll apply one of my air dryers (blowers) to speed dry the cleaned area.
This is important. I am very aware that you do not want me to leave soap behind on the carpet to re-attract dirt. Therefore, I often use just hot water with no soap as a last step (the type of fibers and level of dirt dictate the cleaning method).
Also, drying time is important. I realize you are already inconvenienced by my presence and I will work quickly and leave your carpet as dry as possible. For your part, if you do not walk on it while it is wet it will dry faster....
My equipment allows me to have flexibility in the heat, pressure and chemical solution used, which makes my job easier and more efficient and your carpet, upholstery or tile/grout cleaner without damage.
By the way, "Butler" refers to the manufacturer of my equipment, which is the best that exists. I'm proud of it because it took me more than a few years to work my way up to the level where I can afford and appreciate the best gear in the industry.
